DoubleTwist, the universal software provider for your devices has raised a healthy $5 million in funding. The round was financed by pretty well known names including Michael Ovitz, former president of Walt Disney, Li Ka-Shing; a Hong Kong based billionaire, Index Ventures, Northzone Ventures and Alex Zubillaga, head of digital strategy at Warner Bros. DoubleTwist provides software for numerous devices, including mobiles, replacing the need to have dedicated software with a universal one. The funding will be used to further expand the services into Asia and Europe.
