Digg has now officially embraced Twitter by creating twitter feeds across several Digg topics. The twitter feed across the topics will be updated when the story in that topic reaches the front page of Digg. This is an unprecedented move since media outlets from blogs to news sites used to embrace Digg in the gone days of the past. Digg’s move to jump on the twitter ship is among other things an acknowledgement of the fact that Twitter is the new hip kid on town.
