Digg Eco System Starting To Evolve
Last Week Digg announced the release of Digg API to allow developers to access digg data dating back to 2004. They also kick started a contest to reward the most creative and innovative application to be built with the API. It seems that the contest is heating up.

If the article is already submitted to Digg, it will display the current number of Diggs the page has, and pressing the button will take you to the submission page. In case the article is not submitted, pressing the button with take you to the Digg submission page.

Another useful application that have been developed and already promoted on the front page of digg is a service called “Who is digging you“. The service allows you to enter your digg user id and see who are digging your submissions. This is a really easy way for you to find out which digg users share your interests.
