There was reportedly a bug on Digg that made its way to many a systems and caused or rather ran numerous scripts. The script played with the users’ browser, resizing it, launching instant messaging clients and playing an audio file by the name of jews.wmv. The script can effect browsers like Opera, IE and the Firefox irrespective of the operating system they are being run at.
For over an hour, the malicious link remained at the top of the comment stack with zero Diggs: only when rated by the user would the site reveal that the comment really had a rating in excess of negative 800, a very strong signal that the comment was untrustworthy.
