As has been the case lately, twitter was the first web outlet to report the Denver plane crash as people from inside the plane started twitting about it while they were experiencing it live. Twitter might be the tool to get to the info in real time and relatively quickly, but the role of traditional media outlets would not be wiped out completely – yes it definitely would morph and change with time.
