No matter how much privacy they guarantee, your images find a way to spread. Photrade tries to eliminate this fear rather tries to get you paid for all the images used by others.

Photrade is all about having both amateur and professional photographers amalgamate with publishers and advertisers, a platform where your photos can be legally accessed and purchased by various publishers for every view their image gets.

Photrade doesn’t require your images to be wrapped up in some flash content; the entire thing s nice and easy; democratising photography as put up by Andrew Paradies, CEO Photrade. What Photrade does is give complete authority to the owner of original content, enabling them to more skilfully protect their images with customized watermarking (yes you have your own), set price for each photo, tag them and then let Photrade keep a check on its usage.

Now if a publisher wants to use your photograph, he she can do so for free, without the need to pay, same goes for bloggers etc. So does Photrade pay it from their pocket? No, they don’t, all the cash for your photograph is generated via ads.

The Cincinnati, Ohio based company was founded in 2006 and its key competitors include, KickApps and GumGum. However Photrade stands out as amongst them as it pays you for per usage of the image compared to the others that get licensing for your images for a one time fee.
