Delicious ‘Updated Version’ ready for launch

Shoaib Hashmi

Delicious_LogoDelicious has made an announcement regarding their new updated version which is about to come out very soon. All Delicious users will be logged out of their accounts and have to log in again when the new version will be implemented. This is in line with some alterations going on behind the scenes at the site.

If the users have to log in again, they have to make sure that they remember their username and password. This is what has been focused in this announcement. The address bar of the social bookmarking website right now appears like this: http://del.icio.us/your_username, but in the updated version, it will look like this: http://delicious.com/your_username.

If someone forgets password, he/she can make use of the password reset tool from where the reset link will be sent to the Delicious associated email id. The bookmarking site won’t be able to help you out if that email id is invalid or incorrect. If you’re a Delicious user then this is the right time for you to change your email id using Delicious account.

They have also warned their users from giving passwords to third party sites and made it clear that no one from the site will ever be asking users about their password.

The exact date of the newly updated site is yet to be known.

This Delicious website update is associated with user login system and delicious team is asking users to confirm their information since after updates it will be impossible to send password mails.

  2. Shoaib Hashmi Says:

No, it will be possible to send password after the new updates. They only way they can’t help out is when the email id is invalid.

  3. BlogsDNA Says:
