Everyone knows how worrying it used to be when we deleted an item on our system only to realize it was important later. It was considered impossible to get them back but developers found a way retrieve them with various softwares. That went well with the problem associated with desktops, but the need to have one for items like information that was once present on Wikipedia and got deleted? There isn’t much in the bag to retrieve online data that’s been hit delete but the problem with deleted Wikipedia articles is now over.
DeletionPedia comes to the rescue of those deleted articles that were once on the largest online encyclopedia.
There might not be much for the offering but it will definitely help out on occasional searches one has to perform and comes to a page that reads “the item has been removed”. There is a sudden urge to get hands on that article alone and it is here DeletionPedia fills its purpose. The site offers 63,551 pages of articles that have been removed from the English Language Wikipedia and users aren’t allowed to edit or do anything else except viewing the articles; meaning that the entire process is automatic.
It might be pretty useful but I hope that the team behind this gets its act together and brings something for the deleted items on YouTube etc as well. Can you guys?
