There are many folks out there who love to write diaries about each and every day of their lives. Serves good when it comes to reflecting on the past but I personally find the pen and paper bit a bit hard to go through. Secondly, your diary might mean everything to you or someone close, but to a stranger its just loads barely readable text crawling through a page. In short, it isn’t really interesting. Enter Daileez, a startup that promises to make your diary more appealing [and more convenient for others to absorb].
Daileez has given the idea of online diary a twist by minimizing the need for users to write entire novels and rather use icons and short description to briefly explain how the day has been. I just signed up for the site an the idea of K.I.S.S [Keep It Simple Stupid] has been neatly implemented. Which means you can simply login on to your Daileez account, select an icon that best defines your mood. This is helpful as it would give your friends an idea what your mood is like on a particular.
That’s not it, there is a lot more Daileez has in offer for its users. Some of the additional features include:
- Keep a daily check on your weight with a weight icon.
- Create and publish your diary as a lifestream microblog.
- Integrate your Daileez online diary with your Twitter and Facebook account to share your entries with friends on other social networks.
- Get a widget of your Daileez diary and share it on your blog.
- You can choose to keep your profile public or private as per your needs.
I am not a huge diary writer so you will definitely not see a lot of my Daileez entries. But for anyone else who loves maintaining a diary and need to add life to it do head over to Daileez!
