There is something we call ‘patience’, that one needs right after a product is launched. I can bet even Google wouldn’t have shown you anything close the day you had started your blog.

As to support your argument here, I tried for results by my name and in the first half hour it gave nothing. Little bit of patience and it gave pretty much of what i find on Google.

They should have done a lot of things but its understandable because its a new product and it will take them some time to get in to the flow.

Cuil got a lot of coverage on day one which would certainly have helped them in knowing about the flaws they have.

wen i tried searching my unique blog title on Cuil the result was not even upto expectation i can understand Cuil is still indexing pages but website which are not even related to my search keyword also showed up in search result that’s petty bad algorithm if it can’t even identify presence of Search keyword on webpage
