image thumb149 Cuil loses its VP; ‘Dreams aside, Google is too real to beat’It’s quite difficult to bear the shame and agony when you are a part of a team that launches jumping higher than the seven skies and boasting to kill the very giant that dominates Planet Earth’s Web-sphere. Yes we are talking about Google and the chicken that rose roaring to beat the living wits out of it; Cuil only to disappear into nothingness.

We know already that Cuil is the least remembered name amongst search engines and almost every one has laughed at the way it has bitten dirt, trash and God knows what, however the team that makes it up might very well be thinking of finding a way to redeem their honor and associate themselves with anything but Cuil. TechCrunch reports of its VP, Louis Monier making a run away from Cuil.

The man had been plucked off Google last year to make Cuil the coolest project on the Earth but destiny had something else written for it. The man with a record of co-founding AltaVista, heading the search dept at eBay and being tipped the one who laid foundations of the Internet search, must have realized that Cuil is a hopeless case.

There is no reason out as to why he left Cuil, but rumors have it that there was a rift between him and Cuil’s CEO, TO Costello over Cuil’s road map. The other more important could be Louis mustn’t have liked the pride Cuil had about it at the time it was launched and how it rose sharply to attract users only to fall even further within a matter of days. We all can just pray that Cuil remains breathing on a few thousand users daily and remain cool enough to live.
