Film company Criterion Collection has launched their website Criterion.com which is an Online Cinematheque for movie lovers, people interested in exploring the editorial content and socializing with other fans. The important feature of the website let users rent out movies for $5/stream, and if the user desire to buy that specific DVD then $5 will be deducted, so there is nothing to lose for the customer. The company has also partnered with The Auteurs which is a new film-centric social site, in order to host monthly film festivals.
