Has Facebook not yet got over the reported issues? I read it early in the morning on Twitter when a friend complained about Facebook facing some outage, sadly had no chance to check the social networking site out until now. It appears that the issue still exists as the login page just wont open. And I have been trying this out for quite a long time now.

I thought the issue was with users in the US alone but that is sadly not the case. At least I am one from Pakistan who has issues even now and I bet there are many elsewhere too. While this is definitely some issue with the social network’s servers some have even exaggerated the issue and stated that the platform has been hacked. I find that pretty funny at present. The social network has grown significantly in the last half a year and now boasts more than 400 million users that are busy engaging with the site in one way or the other. Given the load it has to cater to, an outage so sporadic can some what be overlooked.

I am not sure how long this outage has lasted for now around the globe but it has now been half an hour and I was just waiting if I could log on, but no use. Is this outage for some odd reason or has Facebook been compromised in any way? Let us know what sort of issues are you facing for I can’t say if it is slow or anything since my page just wont open.
