We all know how much piracy and copyright issues matter today. And to save itself again from a lethal lawsuit, this morning, YouTube deleted audio tracks that had not been authorized by all copyright holders from many videos using its audio fingerprinting technology. Many YouTuber’s are outraged about this new policy.
I personally believe that it would make a lot more sense for the music industry to allow YouTube users to use copyrighted sounds tracks on their homemade videos (using some sort of license), while the record labels (or the artists) could get a share of the advertising revenue, thus creating a win-win sitaution for both users and artists.

That’s very impressive, I didn’t know audio fingerprinting was possible.

yeah, after all youtube could make some search of FreeLicence music – so others composers could share their music with others for free to use.. – well if I need soundtrack for my SlideShow video, I could find some track which could be avaible to use..
Lots of composers and piano players would placed them tracks online..
Well after all u can get music for your video if you need it..
