Without auto complete for contacts on Gmail, all the typing of emails and finding the right one from the list would have been a nuisance. Things are thankfully quite easy and Gmail is making it a whole lot easier with the contact chooser. The next time you compose an email and want to add recipients simply select them from the window and click to add as many as you like. The other advantage it has added is the ease to search for contacts if you are using Gmail in Japanese, Chinese or Korean.
