Conde Nast, the New York based publisher that recently acquired Reddit, a YCombinator backed company, has launched Portfolio, a new magazine that will chronicle “the intrigue, excitement, and power that attract people to the business world-and the people behind the radical innovations and change taking place.”
The first few stories that I got to read on Portfolio are quiet impressive and VentureBeat thinks that the magazine will surely make waves in its space. For those of you, who might not be knowing Wired is also a Conde Nast magazine.
On a related note GigaOm has launched a new blog called Found+Read targeting web entrepreneurs. The blog is edited by Carleen Hawn and will feature entrepreneurs and technology experts to share their experiences in building companies and shaping technology. Om Malik says that he is starting this blog because he went through a lot of pain building his own business over the past year and realized that what he experienced was nothing new, albeit just new to him. He hopes that Found+Read will bring to light his experiences and that of others like him and will ultimately become a great resource for founders.
