comScore provided an insight into stats of the global Internet audience recently. The report states that ranging from 15 and older (home and work computers) the total global Internet audience surpassed 1 billion visitors in December 2008. The Asia-Pacific region holds 41 percent of the total where China ranks the largest Internet population in the world.
Europe came in at 28 percent, North America: 18 percent, Latin-America: 7 percent and the Middle East & Africa: 5 percent.
