We Say That! lets you comment on any website on the internet, whether it supports commenting or not. Even if it has its comments closed, you can still comment on that website using We Say That! This may sound a bit like StumbleUpon or Digg, but it’s very different than them as it’s not a social network, but just pure commenting.

Commenting using We Say That! is very simple. There’s no sign up process required. All you have to do is type in the web page URL, that you want to comment on. It’ll load up the page with it’s thumbnail image and show a comment box like the ones you see on blogs. Then you can just type in your info and comment and your done – except for that, we haven’t been able to get it to work for us. We’ve tried many times to comment on Startup Meme using We Say That! but every time we type in the URL, it says be the first one to comment, meaning our comment never gets registered with We Say That! It would be great if it worked but sadly it’s broken.

Another gripe we have with We Sat That! is, they wont let you comment on their own website. What the heck are they doing online, when they wouldn’t even let you comment on them! If you type in their URL, this is what it’ll show. Boo for that!

Ironically this is what their main page says,

Comment every site, every blog, comment everything You think that deserves a comment. Websites without commenting features, messages like Comments for this post are closed and blog censorship is yesterday. Just type in the page You want to comment and write Your pain down. For an easy comment tracking use RSS or the Firefox extension.

They also allow you to subscribe to new comments, new sites and the most commented sites RSS feeds. But we think using this feature will bring you a lot of information with noise. Something which could get annoying in a while.

We Say That! should learn from Bubble Comments and implement a working feature set and not a broken one. And please, have some self respect and let people comment on themselves as well!
