Social networking service Classmates.com has been sued by one of its users for providing false information. The service lets users interact and locate acquaintances from high school, college or work. Last Christmas Eve the social networking site sent a message to user Anthony Michaels telling him that his schoolmates were trying to contact him. Michaels didn’t waste any time and upgraded his account to the premium membership but he was astonished to see that there was no one trying to contact him, it was al fake. Michaels has filed a lawsuit against the social networking site. If the lawsuit succeeds, it will certainly improve the standards.
