Google is in to advertising its Chrome browser, as it was discovered that the first ad came on LinkedIn. The reports were confirmed by LinkedIn, that the Chrome ads are a paid campaign. Google advertises its own products through its search engine, and spotting an ad on another service is a rare discovery. Though this comes after The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this year, that Google is looking to advertise some of its products on a third party site. Google Chrome seems to be the right choice to start with as it drives more search volume, meaning the more downloads that occur the more revenue is generated.
