I came across this blog post featuring Choosy and The Resumator, two apps that look to offer better management of job listings and candidate selection. They come at a reasonable price any company can afford and in a time when they can prove really handy.
The first one, Choosy, works as a database for job applicants from various job sites. It gathers all the applicants in one place for reviewing. Choosy uses HR tools of Clickpass to establish its accounts. After the account’s setup you can follow simple procedures of adding job postings. Next, after resumes are uploaded to the system, Scribd integration helps viewing them on Choosy. It costs $24 per month for the service, with a 30-day trial that’s free.
Now The Resumator is quite similar to Choosy except that it carries some extra features that help promote jobs. This app is a lot more advanced than Choosy as it allows the organization to collaborate in reviewing a candidate. Features of a rating system, a comments feature where the team can share their thoughts, as well as a list of communications a team member can use to get in touch with the candidate, are present in the app.
When you create a job, The Resumator examines it and works to find global, local and niche job boards for you to potentially advertise your position. Instead of defaulting to the big boards, you may find smaller boards at a lower cost that also deliver more-qualified candidiates.
The Resumator is available for $59 per month, and includes a 30-day free trial period.

Thank you Saad for checking out Choosy! We’re really excited with our new product so we appreciate your post here. I just wanted to let you know that Choosy allows internal team members to comment on each applicant. We are also keeping a record of status changes (rejected, made offer, etc.) within the comments so people can understand comments in relation to what was just decided.
Hope this helps! Thanks again for the review!

There are now so many Saas based ATS that it’s difficult to choose.
I tried several and Applicant Stack and Newton Software seem like good ones.
http://haystackhire.com is also a more structured alternative. It’s more project management oriented. Built around candidates wheras The resumator is built on resumes.
