China might ‘has been’ the winner when it comes to population, something that has been alarming to analysts at planning out how to make the land stretch to make enough room for all the people. But a recent survey and statistics from China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) has revealed that this population has come out beating the US when it comes to most internet users, as reported by BBC.
The figures leap past US 223 million by a huge number (30 million more). Overall net penetration in the US is 71% as compared to 19% in China revealing that US would soon be ripped off in coming time. Definitely significant when you check out the records that are topped by the United States ever since the concept of most users online has been there.
Statement issued by CNNIC said;
This is the first time the number has drastically surpassed the United States, becoming the world’s number one.
The figure has jumped up by massive 56% from Last year and the market is already sizzling for web portals as the number is predicted to hit 490 million by 2012. The overall market revenue that is generated by the huge online market China can serve it still fails to generate enough revenue to compete the US and even South Korea. The net profits are ebbed away at $5.9 billion for 2007, where as the US generated $21.2 billion from its advertising revenue alone.
This would definitely make the US breath faster as China gains up fast to beat the US in every aspect from economics to technology and now the very Internet market is slowly bagged up by China. I bet there are plans already to hit on hard at the Chinese market.
From being a no-one just a fifty years back to being one of the most powerful economies of the world, China is striding forward and it looks predictions for 2012 are going to turn out pretty welcoming for China with reports of the Chinese Air force growing up to about 60% of what US has with the same technological advancements. What determines their success? Determination and of course the huge labour readily available working for one cause, to make their country stand out amongst others. The roads are set for Web-sphere to shift strategy and capture the huge market China promises to be, before competitors make in-roads and set themselves firmly within the Chinese roots.

Photoshopped.

photoshopped? yes, sure. For a country with 2 billion people, such a vast army could only be declared photoshopped by people in denial

Everything larger than the one ‘attacked’ appears to be photoshopped. Doesn’t it?
