Coming out of a 9-month private Beta Zigtag brings users (another) social bookmarking tool. Zigtag claims to make bookmarking easier through adding a layer of semantics to the tags. The service differs from other similar ones as it works through ‘understanding’ your tags – searches out tagged items carrying different meanings.

Through Zigtag you can categorize your bookmarks and share them as well. Two years before its launch, the site had to say their service would:

transform how people search, save and share knowledge & information.

Now lets see if Zigtag can come up to that mark.
