Here comes the buzz from Google as the industry giant takes on social networking and more importantly Facebook with Google Buzz. Alright it is definitely not going to kill any of the existing social networking sites that exist present day but it will be more than effective for email addicts. Think of having to socialize with the countless email users you have added on Gmail over time and since it comes built on Gmail, it already has location features with Google Latitude. A wow product worth being a user of, plus it already has a mobile version to begin with.
The winning factors are right there to help Google Buzz come out strong. You already have an inbox with the email, plus a powerful mobile platform and much needed features like location. Those are just few, I mean think of Google Calendar, Docs, etc that would give a totally new dimension or should I say the very desired features that many social networks would eventually add. That’s not it, I mean present social networks have used users connecting with each other to actually introduce features like sharing photos, videos, events, etc. Come over to Google, it already has all those features as separate services and with Google Buzz out, the giant would simply integrate them all together under one banner.
I am not saying that people would immediately leave Facebook and head on to Google Buzz. That is so out of question, but tell me doesn’t most of the contacts we have use Gmail or other emails built on Google Apps. What actually makes this product worthwhile are the features, that are way too powerful than Facebook. Sounds bad for Facebook’s reputation, but to me it’s is the beginning of some speedy roll out of useful features from Facebook.
I guess the competition is already on and Facebook will very soon launch location based features on its platform. Why wont it? Google Buzz already has it and to keep every single user to continue using Facebook, especially Google fan boys, it will have to make itself better.
Tell us what you think about Google Buzz and your predictions about it in the comments.

[...] Facebook has outgrown Google. Love it or hate it, it’s a fact now, as Compete reports that the social networking site generates more traffic for sites like MSN, AOL and Yahoo. And those traffics stats are more than what search engines bring to these websites. No doubt Google amalgamated all its services under the umbrella of Social network; Google Buzz. [...]
