We have covered BuildaSearch quite often in the past. The startup provides everyone interested in search to build their own search engine without the need of being an expert developer or expert in the field. BuildaSearch has made quite some progress in the recent past and presently released a new feature called Search Clash. The feature integrates all the scattered data sources as one search. This utilizes the BuildaSearch API, third party sources and SDE (its development environment). The SDE is the same platform that provides users with an interface to create custom searches. Presently Search Clash is providing a few predefined APIs, which include:
