BrowserPlus: A plus to your browsing experience (a peek)

BrowserPlus With speed and efficiency gaining momentum in the Web world, Yahoo’s BrowserPlus comes, extending the Web with simple installation and usability by developers through a small JavaScript library.

It offers various features at present namely; drag-and-drop from the desktop, notifications and image alterations at the user end, all the essential tools to make Webing easier.

The distinguishing feature is its ability to update and add newer services without the need to restart the browser or even reloading; meaning that you don’t have to be bugged down with installation notifications (the case is seen on various browsers available). It requires the user approval nonetheless.

All this simplifies things for developers as well, for they can check and activate newer services.

The brainees for BrowserPlus have been cracking their heads up for almost a year and the idea now needs an open air in the developer’s community.

BrowserPlus isn’t out, and the developers at Yahoo have given in a taste with this sneak. Perhaps the purpose is to have feedback from the user community to meet their demands and work out on suggestions they might give to help improve the service before it makes a full throttle into Web world.

With a name as trustworthy as Yahoo, I guess one can relax a bit and hope it offers an experience worth the name.
