I can bet many people out there would be envious of the fact that Google just rolled out its Google Buzz bringing all its services under one name. Especially the coming of social aspects to Gmail. However the users of Facebook need not to envy it anymore as there is a new integration available for them to bring their Facebook messages to Gmail. You can download the extension here.
Once you have installed the application you will see the tab in the menu on the left just beneath your Buzz button. With this done you can easily update your Facebook status right from your Gmail inbox. You can sign in with Facebook Connect and you are good to go with it. You can read your news feed, along with your emails and continue with Google Buzz, talk about competitors being under one banner.
I am trying to make use of the app right now but it appears to fail with the login. Keeps returning the error that it can’t connect to my Facebook Account. While the idea is simply superb, I just wonder how densely populated would the Gmail inbox be with the free flow of your Feed from the social network.
