chipmunks Brash Entertainment’s $400 million just vanished into thin air

Brash Entertainment, a video game company that specialized in adapting movies into games, now finds itself in a very uneasy position as the $400 million that the company (almost) raised last summer from ABRY Partners, New York Life Capital Partners, Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, and America Private Equity Fund has vanished. It so happened that Brash only got a little money in hand and the rest was earmarked to be paid at a later date, which cant happen now since the companies that earmarked that money now have empty pockets. As a result, Brash would be firing 20 employees, temporarily suspending pay to some developers and is aggressively looking for more money or a buyer.
