Boxee, a startup that is developing a social media center platform for HDTVs, would soon be exiting alpha status to become more widely available to users – starting from Jan 8, 2009. In addition to this the startup would soon be releasing a Windows version of the service that will enter alpha testing in early 2009.
Boxee raised $4 million in first round of funding led by Spark Capital and Union Square Ventures in Nov 2008.
I do not own a MAC , use a PC. I’m interested in investment opportunities in Boxee. Is it public? how can I get in on it?
