There might not be much to cheer one up when it comes to announcing achievements but Blizzard Entertainment has got some news to cheer about. The release speaks of the World of Warcraft subscribers getting pass 11 million mark. The subscription here points at those users who have paid a fee for subscription along with those who have purchased the game.

CEO and co-founder Blizzard Entertainment, Mike Morhaime stated:

It’s been very rewarding to see gamers around the world continue to show such strong support for World of Warcraft. We remain fully committed to responding to that enthusiasm with a high-quality, constantly evolving game experience.

The game has seen a 10% growth in less than a year. That shouldn’t be surprising given the games global reach and its availability in more than 8 languages to facilitate users across the Internet.
