yahoo_twitter logo Yahoo’s Execs exodus was one of hottest topic during last few days. The beleaguered company has gained much popularity because of its passengers that were eagerly leaving the ship without giving any suitable reason. Although its Execs structure is trembling, Yahoo! still has full faith in its strategies and technology. The company aims to provide a firm base that can hold burden of ever growing customer’s demands and therefore, is hiring new employees to make its market position more stable and firm. In this connection, Yahoo has recently hired Blaine Cook who is known as a controversial and talented man.

Blaine Cook was the Chief Architect at Twitter and was responsible for building and maintaining Twitter’s real time backend infrastructure. His key responsibilities includes tracking and conveying everyday updates to users on Web, IM and SMS. He has joined Yahoo as a rails developer and is currently working on the Fire Eagle,Yahoo’s Brickhouse project. Through Fire Eagle, you can easily share your location online.

Fire Eagle is the secure and stylish way to share your location with sites and services online while giving you unprecedented control over your data and privacy.

Cook  left Twitter with a plan of moving to UK but his joining at Yahoo depicts that he would have altered his plans. No one can deny the fact that twitter’s downtime and bad service was all because of Cooks’ inconsistencies.  Thousands of people thinks that his decisions as a Chief Architect have badly ruined Twitter.

Yahoo itself is facing an adverse time and it is no more a good employer in a market . Bad time at Yahoo started when EVP Weiner left Yahoo. Number of other prominent departures  joined long list of Yahoo’s egress and all this crap reveals the fact that Yahoo do not have any option left, than to hire the controversial employees like Blaine Cook.
