After being unavailable for almost half a day, Baidu, the Google of China came back online and the reasons for I being dead remain undisclosed. The issue was first reported at early morning and surprisingly enough the service, unavailable globally was still being used in China.
The reasons as said are unknown but this might very well be due to the policy China has of maintaining strict control over the Web world (a.k.a Great Firewall of China). And accessibility to the service from a server based in China stands as a proof to it. Whatever the reason be, Baidu is back online globally.
