As Apple’s CEO Steve Jobs is on a medical leave it leaves the company’s fate hanging in balance… well, not quite so. Stocks seem to be going as expected and products which are in the pipeline, will come out as in their due time too (delayed). Now what’s left to see is whether Tim Cook can fit Jobs’ chair, he comes qualified though – working with Apple since some time now.

MySpace Music has looked to a bunch of independent music partners, labels and distribution companies to provide more of the indies onto their music library. Nettwerk, INgrooves, Iris Distribution, RoyaltyShare, and Wind-up Entertainment are scurrying to add "several hundred thousand" songs on MySpace Music.
MySpace Music president Courtney Holt, stated:
Facebook’s plans to launch a free streaming music service were sidelined as Warner Music refused to join along with the other three big names: Universal, Sony BMG, and EMI. This was supposed to happen in venture with Total Music (a joint venture by Universal and Sony BMG), but was halted, and we don’t see it bouncing back in the near future.

Gmail Labs recently came up with a new option for users to keep their inbox cleaner. ‘Send & Archive’ allows one to keep emails away into another folder, through just a click, saving precious time. Carol Bartz, Yahoo’s new CEO, plans to work on the company’s search business. In a meeting with her employees she stated that she’s had an informal conversation with Steve Ballmer, probably on the same note. Though a source said that this was the right thing to say, keeping people happy while you figure things out.
Sirius Satellite Radio seems to be having a lot trouble lately, with frequent signal dropouts and not to mention the financial stress. Though we’re only mentioning the signal issue here, which is reported to have become a bug for some as it keeps coming back. When asked for an explanation, a Sirius rep had this to say:
