Apple’s iPhone is in the news again – though this time in a different scenario altogether. Apple Inc. is the target of a lawsuit filed by EMG Technology LLC. This came as – the lawsuit claims – the iPhone infringing a patent filed by Los Angeles real estate developer Elliot Gottfurcht, and two co-inventors.
The claim accuses Apple Inc. of its product using a technology that enables it to navigate and display some sites designed for small phone screens which in turn infringes on a patent obtained by Gottfurcht and his co-inventors (assigned to EMG) last month. Though this brings light on other phones following the same path, so why only Apple? To which Gottfurcht’s lawyer Stanley Gibson had to say:

BitTorrents have been a popular source of file sharing since as long as I can remember, and traffic of recent has been on the rise. Though TorrentAds is one service founded with the aim of being a torrent tracker cum an ad network for BitTorrent websites. For publishers TorrentAds promises some of the highest CPMs in the industry, whereas for advertisers it offers a serving and reporting technology through a partnership with Zedo. Don’t know whether this kind of service could kick-off or not with sites like Pirate Bay relying on different engines (Ventiv Media) for their marketing. Seems like a risk worth taking, as looking at the P2P world, one can only deduce the rewards lying ahead.

Sharing memories is much more fun with Mixbook’s software as it offers features through these 3 steps:
Google Search engine site is experiencing down-time again. Searching for images and other reference material has been a pain since this down-time is happening for quite a few days now. As before, I asked around and my friends were experiencing similar issues with the site, but particularly the issue is with the search engine. So here I am blogging about this again. Googling seems a pain lately, so nothing left to do but to turn to Yahoo in this time of distress.
Rolando is finally set to release on the iPhone after a few months of delay. Developed by Hand Circus and being released by Ngmoco in December. The game is going to be tagged at $9.99 and seems fair enough, as the standard is like most high-quality games. It brings to iPhone its multi-touch and accelerometer technology and revolves around manipulating round characters (Rolandos), and going through obstacles to reach the goals. It’s actually pretty fun as you tilt the iPhone sideways, swipe up on the screen, etc to make the characters move around.
