Facebook is suing three guys – Jeremi Fisher, Philip Porembski, Ryan Shimeall and their associated companies Choko Systems, Harm, and iMedia Online Services, in a U.S. federal court. The lawsuit alleges the defendants of using phishing techniques to get access to Facebook user profiles and then using these profiles to send spam to their friends.

CNET reports that the lawsuit makes claims under the Can-Spam (Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing) Act, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, the California Anti-Phishing Act and the California Computer Data Access and Fraud Act.

The other popular sites to have more than 100 million monthly US visitors include Google Sites, Yahoo! Sites and Microsoft Sites. Facebook now ranks at number 4, among the top 50 web properties tracked by comScore.

Facebook was founded in Febuary 2004 and by Nov of 2004, it had a US audience of around 2 million. Compare this to today’s tally of more than 100 million US visitors and you have an increase of 50 times – since Nov 2004. What’s even more impressive is that Facebook has doubled itself in 2009 alone.

Zynga, a San Francisco based game maker of popular facebook games such as FarmVille, Café World and Mafia Wars, has raised $180 million in a new round of funding – according to NY Times. The round was led by Moscow based Digital Sky Technologies (DST). The Russian based digitial investment firm has previously invested $200 million in Facebook.

The investment is structured similar to that of DST’s investment in Facebook, whereby DST invested directly into Facebook and also bought stocks from Facebook employees. Similarly Zynga employees will get a chance to sell their shares to DST, allowing them to cash out before the IPO.

But then suddenly, the representative from the bank started to ask him questions about his daughter-in-law, using her maiden name. The representative claimed that they know about her from publicly available information.
