Aprius, a Sunnyvale, California based startup that develops high speed bandwidth server interconnect systems, has raised $20 million in second round of funding led by Menlo Ventures and joined by return backers Lightspeed Venture Partners and New Enterprise Associates. The current round takes the total amount of capital raised to-date to $31 million. The company was founded in 2006 by three Intel veterans who have previously also co-founded LightLogic (acquired by Intel in 2001).
