Apple has released the Apple TV updates containing some useful new features at the price of supporting third party software Boxee. The updated software allows the users of Apple TV to stream music from the device to Apple TVs which are using AirTunes. iTunes playlist which includes Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, and Music Video s, can now be witnessed on Apple TV. Also there is a new support for volume controls. There is a little problem with if you upgrade for Apple TV and that is you won’t be able to install boxee afterwards. A message on Twitter from boxee reads:
seems that after running the 2.3 upgrade for ATV you can’t install boxee/xbmc. so please don’t upgrade until we figure it out..
Other update includes the following:
