Safari 4 public beta has been released with a new interface (download). The first things I noticed about the new one; stitch the goods of the iTunes and Google Chrome and voila, you have Safari. That’s not imitating, but cleverly making a product far more effective implementing what would most appeal to users and Safari 4 is pretty close to doing that. New features, the cover flow being the the major to help users browse through history and bookmarks along with enabling full text search for bookmarks as well. But I guess its speed takes the cake away from Firefox while trailing Chrome. I am beginning to like Safari 4 already to say the least as it’s giving me the speed I so badly want without switching to Chrome.

Although claimed by Apple as fastest browser, I dont think its qiute that fast! I have used many other browsers and feel that google crome is the fastest of them all. By the way they have added new features such as “cover flow” which I like very much.
