Appcelerator announced the release of its the first version of its RIA platform named Titanium for developers. The platform will be available on Windows and Mac OS  and Appcelerator will be offering a few demo applications. The startup has also raised $4.1 million in its first round led by Storm Ventures. The funds will be used to further develop its app platform to compete Adobe AIR.
