AOL will be shutting down the AOL Video Uploads service effective from December 18, which means that users will no longer be able to host their videos on AOL. AOL is recommending Motionbox as an alternative and has asked the users to get their videos to some safe place or else they will be gone for good. The shut down will not effect AOL Video which boosts content from Hulu, CBS and other sources – atleast for now.
