Anvato has raised $2 million in its first round of funding that is still open. The round was led by Oxantium Ventures and Anvato looks forward for more investors intending to raise the funds to $4 million. Ammar Qusaibaty of Oxantium will also take seat in Anvato’s board of directors. Anvato uses an automated visual detection engine to identify videos across the web, helping publishers to fish out their copyrighted content on the web.
