It’s harsh to pull the plug on a service when others around you are making acquisitions, expanding business and pocketing funds. I bet Predictify must be feeling the same pinch as it switches off its business. The site started in 2007 as a prediction market and enabled users to vote on what cold be the outcomes of a certain news. The startup had been in good shape last year but I guess the economic decline proved to be pretty heavy on the startup and squashed life out of it. The site now offers its users to withdraw their amounts if they value at $20 or more by August 31, 2009. I wonder if the startup had ever been able to predict its demise after almost two yeas in business.
