I guess everyone is having news about wrong stuff on Facebook. Come on, wasn’t this the month of love? I have covered quite a lot of news in the last week or so talking about people being murdered or committing suicide all the way to people being fired for letting kids enter a no entry zone and putting up pictures on the social network. Today another similar news has been circling the Web talking about a 19 year old kid being sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The kid has been accused of blackmailing more than half a dozen teen, forcing them to indulge in sexual activity/acts. How insane, the kid asked other teens to take naked pictures posing as girls and then used the same to blackmail them into perform indecent acts with him. I just don’t feel any sorrow for this youngster, given that many of those kids he blackmailed have been hospitalized. The fear is of course the same that they might harm themselves or even try to commit suicide.
The kid, Anthony Stand did however offered his apology for being guilty but I guess that isn’t enough:
I am deeply, deeply sorry for the pain and suffering I have caused you and your family. I can’t imagine or understand how much of an impact my actions have had on you.
I personally think that his sentence is absolutely justified and this should set an example for others who ever intend to perform such a heinous act.
