Animoto, a wed based service that takes up images and music from users, transforming them into videos. The technology isn’t operated upon by a human, rather algorithms perform all necessary checks and works upon the submitted items like a professional director. Animoto has announced the inclusion of services for professional photographers.
The new feature offers users additional features like adjusting speeds for images that displayed in the video. Along with that it offers users to place an extension button (call to action) towards the end of the video. The purpose is to let users redirect to more options where they can perform various actions like purchasing an item sharing etc.
There may very well be a lot of features being added but Animoto after being funded by Amazon has decided to hinge in a business model to its service. With almost everyone eyeing for more opportunities, Animoto has also planned to capitalize on its present revenue model that focuses on the subscriptions. It also provides users with added features, like downloading files etc.
CEO Brad Jefferson said in his statement:
Allowing photographers to submit photos [for money] to Animoto would be an excellent way for a photographer to be noticed and would allow our users a larger selection of photos from which to choose..
This would definitely help out a lot as photographers can earn while others in the community make use of their images. Apart from that it would have Animoto offering more to choose from to its users.
