Now the best way to speak the truth and paint the picture of reality is to go with humor. Mint has done the same as it released a short video to pull out the real numbers on the unemployment rate which has been put at around 10% by the officials. Mint on the other hand puts it at 17.2%, which is just a fraction short of the 17.5% last month.
I sort of agree to the whole discussion there, given that stats usually play around with numbers, especially if those are to agitate the masses. Happens all the time in countries and the only purpose is to suppress the reality and give people a sense that things are actually improving, when they aren’t. The idea should be to find solutions and have people keep a check on reality. Well at least everyone knows things are not good in any way and anyone of us who is jobless isn’t left feeling alienated. Now am I getting all too Current Affair-ish on a tech blog? Maybe, but that’s the call of the day, pr perhaps I have been reading a lot on unemployment lately.
