While everything moving over to real time (FriendFeed for one), why should YouTube stay behind? Today YouTube has stepped out into the arena testing YouTube RealTime. This would enable users to know what contacts are online and their current activity. The idea to go realtime is pretty useful, given that there are always a countless people watching something at YouTube, the idea of having live updates about an interesting video that’s being watched by your friend is bund to make people discover videos that may interest them more.
