With many a firms finding it impossible to survive in the tough economic times, giants in business seem eager to gulp them down at rock bottom price. Dell has decided to do the same, with idea to grow further with acquisitions, something which it hadn’t done for two decades after it was formed. Regarding these acquisitions, Dell CFO, Brian T.Gladden stated:

I think the question is more around diversifying our revenue base and becoming bigger in some things that are attractive for the long term.

Well if its CEO, Michael Dell sees enough opportunities with acquisitions, then there is no harm he doesn’t do so.
