With information flooding over the internet at a lightening fast speed and our human forms limiting our ability to grasp it all ends up frustrating us. At the end of a long day I often realize that I have missed on a lot of useful piece of news just because I couldn’t keep myself apace with searching, reading whatever made its way on the web. Finding out the right information that matches your taste sounds tedious and one feels a dire need to have a tool to ease it all.
inSuggest is a service that has been providing recommendations for pictures and websites based on your interest (very much like Fanista, Google’s My Library) and its recommendations are pretty spot on based on your likings. To add more for the users comfort the site added a new feature called the Bookmarks inSuggest.
With this added, users can now access the feature using their del.icio.us username; have their bookmarks put up in order and then recommended, based on your interests. Not just that, there is a tag filter function that enables bookmark search based on your keywords or tags.
So is it good in predicting what one is thinking using its algorithms? Well I did test it out and the results it provided were quite close to what I would like. Here inSuggest would show my bookmarks and towards the right, those that it recommends based my tags and search.
There is no hassle attached with it, no need to signup as you can use your del.icio.us username. The site itself maintains its sleek design and its user friendliness along with improvements every now and than. I wouldn’t be surprised if it tries its hands at other recommendations like food etc. just a thought, there are no ends to imagination.

Thank you for sharing the information on Insuggest. I found it useful though the colors used are too loud something more subtle would have made the service even better.
