San Diego, California based Qualcomm has announced that the company has acquired the cell phone graphics business of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). The is confirmed for $65 million. The company will takeover AMD’s graphic assets and intellectual property and incorporate it with its chip products. Also the design and development team has been offered jobs at Qualcomm.
