Just today I got a mail from the newly redesigned amazon associate central, describing of their new feature dubbed SiteStripe.
Site Stripe lets you build your Associates links right from any Amazon.com page. The Site Stripe will appear at the top of every Amazon page and provides quick and easy access for building links, adding products to your aStore and even seeing your reports. The Associates Site Stripe is a convenient alternative to using some of the Associate Central linking and reporting tools.
Here is the letter that I got:
The new feature will really turn out to be helpful for associates bringing about a positive change to the associate central. What do you say? Leave your comments…

When the site stripe feature first came out, I looked at it like another way to do something we were already doing (linking to amazon), but then I learned just how useful it would be to easily link to a product. When I do a blog post on an item, I can easily grab the updated version of the links to Amazon, and I know it’ll be right. Amazon did a nice job.

You are absolutely right, and amazon is making a full throttle not only in it’s product selling business, but also in its software back end services. I think amazon could be the next big revolution.
